North Carolina Saves

North Carolina Saves is a statewide campaign led by State Treasurer Richard Moore. Our goal is to help our residents build wealth, not debt. We are a coalition of community, government and nonprofit groups that provide financial literacy programs and support. Together, we are committed to helping you become a saver and work toward building wealth!

NC Savers are eligible for free savings accounts through participating banks and credit unions. These financial institutions have agreed to waive monthly maintenance fees for at least 12 months. In addition, you can open these with a deposit of $1 to $25.
